You are committed that you are an adult when you start using this product/service. If you are a minor, your guardian is required to agree to your use of the app and agree to all the applicable terms of application.

This agreement as our promise to protect your personal information will be strictly enforced. I hope that you can feel safe and use our services with confidence.


1.Collection and use of personal information

The information we collect will only be used for the purposes set out in this Agreement. Collect and use your personal information, which will be used for providing and optimizing services to you and protecting your account.

1.1 User Account Information

Personal data that are collected while creating a Glook account may include the information like your email address or mobile phone number. These information helps to activate, manage and get service of Glook. Your nickname, profile picture, country and time zone will be connected to your account so that you can visit our product and service conveniently.

1.2 User Mobile Phone Information

Your phone model, operating system, unique device identifier, Glook application version number, location-related information (such as IP address, GPS location, and Wi-Fi access point that can provide relevant information, Bluetooth etc.) will be collected to enable PUSH notification. And these are very necessary basic information which we have to collect from you.

1.3 Device Information

All the device information will be collected so that you can control them via APP remotely.

1.4 Feedback

In order to implement the online feedback function for the current problems of the Glook application, we need to collect the following information: log information of the application and device and your contact information. The log information of the application and the device includes the device status, the information sensed by the sensor device, the device operation record, and the device number (the unique identifier after the device is registered). The purpose of collecting such information is to facilitate analysis of the current cause of the problem. The purpose of collecting your contact information is for follow-up visits, to find out if the problem is completely resolved, or to contact you and hope that you will supplement the necessary additional information. If you do not provide this type of information, we will not be able to effectively locate and resolve your feedback.


2.Instructions for calling permissions of the App

When you are using the Glook App certain functions may trigger different phone permissions. In order for you to better manage your information, we will inform you of the purpose of using the permission when you apply for the permission in the product use process, and the possible impact on your use of the service if you do not enable the permission, please check carefully. Before you use specific functions, you can choose whether to authorize the following permissions. At the same time, you can change the authorization status at any time through the device's permission settings page.


2.1 The following is the detailed description of related functions and calling permissions

1) Read and write external storage space (Android version)

It is used to read and write photos and files on the device in functions such as scanning QR codes, snapshots, and videos.


2) Location permission (Android, iOS version)

It is used to discover a list of nearby WLAN signals.


3) Camera permission (Android, iOS version)

It is used to scan the QR code for device installation and other functions.


4) Microphone permission (Android, iOS version)

When the user operates the sound wave distribution network for the WiFi wireless device, or connects the added device to operate the pickup function of the audio and video intercom.


5) Read phone permission (Android)

It is used to generate the device identifier of the phone locally on the client side.


6Auto start and context-start (Android)

In order to ensure that the Android phone can receive the notification when the App is closed or running in the background, this App adds a self-starting logic to make the App have a certain self-starting ability. 2.2 Third-party SDK service permission description

- Application information: Package name, App version, App name

- Phone identification (READ_PHONE_STATE): used to identify the device (IEMI/MAC/Android ID) and count the number of devices

3.Changes and revisions of the privacy policy

We reserves the rights to update this agreement in due course. When the agreement changes, we will show you the changed agreement through the pop-up window. If you continue to use the Glook APP and our services after the renewal of this agreement, which means you have fully read, understood and accepted the updated agreement and are willing to be bound by the updated agreement.


This Agreement is effective as of the date of the update.
